It was free, and the Ranger talks along the route were very informative: the development of snowshoes, how winter helped create Crater Lake, the big and little plants in the park, and the big and little animals in the park.
The weather was way better than I had expected from the reports and we stayed warm and comfortable :) It was a wonderful adventure!
